Cyber Safety

A number of children, parents and staff attended an extremely informative Cyber safety forum with an expert guest presenter, Martyn Wild, on Wed. Oct 27th. Martyn clearly articulated the need for parents to develop their awareness of cyber safety issues, know what their children are doing when unsupervised and using internet connected communication devices and know how to support their children in developing safe internet practice. Cyberzine is a newsletter issued by ACMA which aims to keep you up to date with information about cybersafety, including current issues, new resources and the latest research.  In the latest issue they look at ways to stay safe online over the summer holidays, new activities and teaching resources for 2011 and cybersecurity program, Budd:e.  Click here to view the newsletter online.
